A Feb. 12 article, OUB Speaks Out on the Looming War,O referenced Walter Simpson, a professional staff member in the office of University Facilities and a former director of the Western New York Peace Center, as saying he believes the impending war with Iraq is a Oresult of alternative U.S. interests in the Middle East.O Simpson said, more specifically, that these interests are oil.
