Motor City Bowl

The Big Ten and the Mid-American Conference signed a four-year deal to compete in the Motor City Bowl on Monday. The game will be played at the new Ford Field in downtown Detroit, Mi.

The No. 1 selection from the MAC will take on the No. 7 selection from the Big Ten. If the Big Ten does not have seven teams that are bowl eligible, an at-large bid will be awarded.

This year's game takes place on Dec. 26 at 5 p.m. It will be broadcast on ESPN.

Club Hockey

Mercyhurst ended the Ice Bulls' four-game winning streak this past Sunday when they defeated UB by a score of 5-2. The Bulls were playing without seven of their starters but still managed to trail by only one heading into the final period. Mercyhurst buried them quickly however, scoring three goals in a five-minute span.
