UB won eight of 10 bouts as they picked up a 34-7 road win at Binghamton Sunday afternoon. The Bulls are now 2-0 this season, winning over No. 20 Lock Haven Thursday.

Buffalo got pins in the 133-pound weight class by Mike Trotta and in the 165-pound weight class by Tom Paladino.

Other winners for UB were: Mark Budd by major decision (125-pound class), Ryan Bentley by major decision (149), Gary Cooper by major decision (174), Garrett Bontempo by major decision (184), Kyle Cerminara by decision (197) and Tom Curl by decision (heavyweight).

MAC Football

Toledo came back from a 17-0 deficit to defeat the Northern Illinois Saturday by a score of 33-30. Brian Jones connected with Donta Greene for a 26-yard touchdown pass with 41 seconds remaining in the game to give Toledo the win.

The loss was NIU's first MAC loss of the season, denying their bid for the West Division title. The Huskies still have a chance, however, for the winner of the Toledo/Bowling Green game next week will determine the West champion. If Toledo wins, they will take the crown, but if Bowling Green wins, the Huskies will take it because they own the tiebreaker against BGSU.
