Women's Tennis

Buffalo fell to Bowling Green in the first round of the MAC tournament 4-0 Thursday afternoon at Ball State University. The Bulls lost all three doubles matches, then lost three singles matches at which time the match was stopped as UB had no chance to win after losing four of a possible seven points. Buffalo finishes their season with a 2-16 record, 0-10 in the MAC. Bowling Green moves on to face Marshall Friday afternoon in the quarterfinals.


Softball

Buffalo's doubleheader at St. Bonaventure scheduled for Thursday afternoon has been canceled due to bad weather and poor field conditions. The team hosts Niagara Friday at 3 p.m. in a doubleheader at the UB Softball Complex.


Joe Clark

Representing the track team, Clark was named UB Male Athlete of the Week Monday for his performance at the SUNY Centers Championships last weekend. Clark won two individual events, and anchored both of UB's winning relay squads.


Biaunca McFarland

Women's track's McFarland is the UB Female Athlete of the Week after receiving Most Valuable Athlete honors at the SUNY Centers Championships last weekend. She won two individual events and anchored Buffalo's winning 1,600-meter relay squad.
