LaHaye Fares Well at NCAA Prelim

ANNAPOLIS, MD - University at Buffalo freshman diver Kimberly LaHaye turned in strong performances over the weekend at the NCAA Zone A Diving Championships held at United States Naval Academy's Lejeune Hall. The meet, for which divers must have qualified for during the regular season, serves as a preliminary round to the overall NCAA championships scheduled for next weekend.

LaHaye placed 10th among 40 entrants in the one-meter competition, scoring a total of 239.35 points. She also took 15th in the 35-diver, three-meter event, totaling 405.90 points. In the platform diving competition, she finished 10th of 14 at 318.85 points.

The top two finishers in each event qualified for the NCAA championships in Austin, Texas starting Thursday.
