EOTO: Ready to Go

Many of the performers who grace the Town Ballroom stage usually have an idea of what they would like to play during the course of their shows ahead of time; not EOTO. This group will return to Buffalo Thursday night with absolutely nothing concrete planned for their show.

Doctor of Da Drums

Allen Aucoin's alias, Dr. Fameus, suggests he's used to life in the limelight. Aucoin, "a born again DJ," has been famous for years - he's the drummer for the electronica band, The Disco Biscuits. But he decided to voyage into a new frontier while the band is on a break from touring.

Science Evolves Into Art

Ruby Merritt stands next to a plethora of petri dishes and test tubs. It isn't her science class; it's her contribution to the ongoing visual arts exhibit in the CFA Arts Gallery. Seven first year graduate students in the MFA program were selected to display their avant-garde work in the CFA Art Gallery for the exhibit, First Year MFA Show: Drag Bar.

Music aficionados gathered for the music of famous avant-garde composer John Cage - an icon whose most famous work, "4'33," consists of the audience's rumbling stomachs, rustling programs, and a loud sneeze.
