Flu shots and other seasonal sickness precautions

As the semester winds down, many students simply can't suppress the utter joy in knowing that they have nearly an entire month before returning to the drudgery of yet another semester of demanding instructors, term papers and many late nights studying for that lousy World Civ.

Information fragmentation

Some characterize it as gross misconduct and an abuse of power.Others see it as a justifiable administrative decision.Either way, the departments, programs and people that, until this semester, made up the School of Informatics are now in the process of transitioning to other schools after Provost Satish Tripathi abruptly proposed to dissolve the seven-year-old school over the summer.Among the critics of the reorganization is adjunct informatics professor Michael Sellitto.

"Carnival, competitions and food highlight homecoming weekend"

Festivities in and around the Student Union welcomed home students and alumni over the weekend as part of the campus-wide week of blue-and-white pride leading up to the Bulls game against Ball State.The Student Association's annual Spirit Week Carnival featured free food, games and amusement park rides while the Alumni Association held their first annual "Dodge Bull" tournament.Patty Starr, assistant director of alumni relations, watched as teams of UB students bounced, bashed and bruised each other with only the best of intentions.
