30,558 students — 19,117 matriculating undergraduates and 11,441 graduate students — enrolled at UB this fall, making it the sixth consecutive year that UB exceeded its enrollment goal of 30,000 students.

In a public alert Thursday morning, University Police reported that two UB students were robbed near Creekside Village at 12:40 a.m. by three men wearing ski masks.

UB employees incur approximately $200,000 in travel expenses

Ten UB employees spent $209,187.65 in travel expenses during the ‘23-24 academic year, according to a travel expenditure spreadsheet acquired by The Spectrum. University Provost A. Scott Weber incurred $487.58 in costs while President Satish K. Tripathi did not have any recorded.

UB prioritizes electrification in new bus contract

UB will be operating 11 new 25-passenger shuttles and 20 refurbished 39-passenger transit buses under a new 10-year transportation contract with WeDriveU, a non-UB-affiliated transportation provider, to transition into fully-electrified Stampede bus fleets.
