April 8, comedian Jay Pharoah greeted the audience in the Center for the Arts (CFA) by walking out on stage in a Goku ultra instinct jacket, with no opener.
On Feb. 26, in the Hallwalls Contemporary Arts Center, UB’s English department hosted Allegra Hyde, an author and a creative writing professor at Smith College for this year’s Exhibit X Fiction Series.

The month also celebrates all aspects of Black culture, allowing for an emphasis to be put on uplifting marginalized and oppressed communities.
