To say that I know what's best in Buffalo would be a lie. I've only been here as an international student for just over a year. But I do know where to have an unforgettable night: VIP Karaoke. Regular customers affectionately call it "VIP." It is a karaoke bar and restaurant located along Maple Road.
Ways you may know you are in Buffalo: a smell of moist air; exquisite architectural design; unique cultural offerings; distinctive delicacies involving unbreaded chicken covered in a vinegar-based cayenne pepper hot sauce; overcast skies during the winter and clear skies during the summer, in which clouds seem strikingly close to you. It's no secret SA has been marred with controversy over the past five years or so.
Last week, Carl Paladino was at it again. He attempted to assemble a coalition of fellow Buffalo Board of Education members to remove Pamela Brown as superintendent.
We disagree with Elad Eliahu's assertion that the Student Association cheated him. Last week, Eliahu ran as an independent candidate for one of the six on-campus SA senator positions.

Hillary Clinton's story is not new by any means. She has been on the world stage for over 20 years now, and since 1992, has constantly held an exalted position of prominence.
When the clock struck midnight on Oct. 1, what was inevitable transpired: We entered a federal government shutdown. We now face intensified uncertainty and risk grave economic consequences.
Editor's note: This article is satirical and is not meant to be taken literally. 'Carson' is a pen name. Dear Carson, I used to think I was every girl's dream catch.
On Friday, leaders from Marshall Islands traveled to the United Nations to make a plea for action on climate change. They know something about climate change.
If you think you can rock it, you probably can. I put together the most bizarre combinations of clothing and, somehow, it works.
It is virtually a given that part of the thrill some students derive from the college partying scene is a sense of danger.
