Artist in residence Carl Dennis looks with a sense of accomplishment upon his 2002 Pulitzer Prize for poetry and with a sense of appreciation upon the road that led him to it.Dennis's eighth book of poems, Practical Gods, published in 2001 by Penguin Books, earned him a 2002 Pulitzer Prize earlier this month.

Baseball Ends Losing Streak with Home Victory

The UB baseball team snapped a four-game losing streak and captured their 10th win of the season Wednesday as they outlasted cross-town rival Canisius 13-5 at the Amherst Pepsi Center Field.UB was propelled by three separate multi-run innings, including a five-run fourth and seventh, to keep them safely ahead of the Golden Griffins throughout the entire game.
