The undergraduate Student Association (SA) has allocated $314,405 — aside from artist fees, which the SA has not made public — for expenses for this year’s Spring Fest concert.
UB is focusing on phasing out single-use plastics on its campuses, in part due to an updated SUNY policy. UB Chief Sustainability Officer Ryan McPherson said that UB played “a key role” in developing that policy.
S. Todd Brown will assume the role of dean effective May 9. He has served as interim dean since July 2023.

The new prohibition represents a marked change from previous years, when most candidates’ platforms focused on advocacy.
Tickets to SA’s Fest concerts are free for undergraduate students, and must be obtained online through the Ticket Office website.
Spring Fest will be the first Fest concert since Sheck Wes, Corday and Lil Yachty headlined 2023’s Spring Fest a year ago. SA abruptly canceled this year’s Fall Fest in an Instagram post, later citing logistical complications and difficulty booking Alumni Arena as a venue.
The move for a vote comes after revelations about CAS’ financial situation and more than a month of protests led by Classics Department students.
