Facing a 'major' decision

Carmen Cibella, a senior english major, changed his major twice before he decided on English. He, and other students, think it is more important for students to take their time in finding what they are passionate about and what they want to study.


On Friday, SARPA held its fifth annual Zombie Walk to raise awareness for brain cancer research. Using fake blood and liquid latex, students transformed each other into zombies and then convened in the Union for the walk through the Union, academic spine and Ellicott Complex.

On Friday, SARPA held its fifth annual Zombie Walk to raise awareness for brain cancer research. Using fake blood and liquid latex, students transformed each other into zombies and then convened in the Union for the walk through the Union, academic spine and Ellicott Complex.

Shattering the silence

During the 26th annual Take Back the Night at UB, Angel Rose, a sexual assault survivor and founder and executive director of Promoting Awareness, Victim Empowerment (PAVE), shared her personal story and educated college students on how they can combat the issue on their own campuses.


The Center for the Arts is undergoing construction that has been broken into two phases. The current construction is focusing on fixing a water infiltration issue and salt erosion on the outdoor staircase. The second phase, which will be completed in two years, will replace the skylights in the atrium. The cost of CFA’s renovations is $1.4 million. Yusong Shi, The Spectrum
