The Bulls (3-3, 2-0 MAC) traveled to Amherst, Mass. on Saturday for an in-conference battle against the UMass Minutemen (0-6, 0-2 MAC). UMass was still searching for their first win since their recent return to the Mid-American Conference (MAC). The Minutemen came in as 16.5 point underdogs, but they still gave the Bulls all that they could handle. It took a strong defensive series and a 22 second touchdown drive for the Bulls to put them away and secure a 28-21 point win.

Women’s soccer (11-3-1, 7-2 MAC) enjoyed two wins against Mid-American Conference (MAC) competition this week — a senior day victory over Central Michigan (0-12-2, 0-6-2 MAC) and a road win over Ohio University (3-8-5, 1-4-4 MAC).

The Bulls swim and dive team had their first meet of the season this past weekend at home, competing with Niagara University and Cornell University. The Cornell Big Red swam and dove exhibition for the meet, meaning the only scored swims were against the Niagara Purple Eagles. The Bulls dominated both the swimming and diving portions of the meet to walk away with a 213-58 win over the Purple Eagles.

Huntington’s disease is a rare, inherited neurodegenerative disorder that affects the brain and drastically decreases quality of life. Although Huntington’s disease has been present for centuries, it was successfully treated for the first time, in September of 2025, by the company UniQure using a treatment called AMT-130.

The moment I stepped foot onto the UB campus at the beginning of my freshman year, I had one clear goal in mind: find a boyfriend. And so, I started to consider my options. I could do it old school and try to meet someone in a bar, but then wouldn’t I look creepy? Perhaps I could meet someone in my classes, but who goes up to their random classmates and asks them out? I certainly did not want to.

Men’s tennis competed in the ITA New England Regional Championships this past weekend at Yale University. Two players advanced to the Round of 16 in the singles draw. All three doubles pairings advanced to the Round of 16.

As the most-streamed artist on the planet, this choice will go down in history as one of the most calculated halftime picks in history as there is a rise of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and anti-immigration laws happening in the United States.

Right in the heart of Buffalo, abandoned, injured and displaced dogs get a second chance at a better life through Buffalo Underdogs Rescue, a local nonprofit organization that has been operating since 2018. The group dedicates its time, energy and resources to rescuing overlooked dogs from shelters and placing them in foster homes where they are prepared for adoption.

The undergraduate Student Association (SA) Senate voted to pass a once-controversial resolution that would allow the president and treasurer, in a joint act, to remove club council coordinators from their positions last Wednesday. Nineteen senators were in favor, one voted against and two had abstained.

Thursday night the UB women’s soccer (8-2-1, 4-1 MAC) team defeated the Akron Zips (3-5-3, 0-3-2 MAC) 1-0 at UB Stadium. This win sees the Bulls extend their win streak to four.

The Eagles came into this game looking to bounce back after consecutive conference losses.
