In the Feb. 6 story "FSEC discusses UB's strengths and weaknesses," it was incorrectly reported that 92 faculty members received SUNY Distinguished Professor titles. In fact, nine UB faculty members were given the title in 2007.

In the same article it was also reported that there are 34 students in the Honors College that were either valedictorian or salutatorian of their high school classes. The correct figure is 33 percent of Honors College students.

In the Feb. 13 story "Titanic leak hits Flint Village," Tom Tiberi was attributed incorrectly. The source was Tom Heberling, maintenance mechanic for Flint Village.
