The Bulls opened the 2003-04 season with three victories at the Head of the Ohio Regatta in Pittsburgh, PA. UB picked up victories in the lightweight four, quad four and youth four teams. Three other Bulls teams, the club four, club eight and varsity eight, all finished in the top five of their races. Women's Basketball

UB Interim Athletic Director Bill Maher announced that women's basketball head coach Cheryl Dozier has been granted a multi-year contract extension. The deal comes on the heels of a breakout season for the Bulls. Dozier led the Bulls to a third-place finish in the Mid-American Conference East Division and the quarterfinals of the MAC Tournament. Buffalo finished last season with a 17-10 overall record and a 9-7 conference mark.

The Bulls' men took home a 18th place finish among 33 squads with 506 points and the women fared similarly, with a 19th place finish out of 32 teams (494 points).
