Anderson named All-League

Zach Anderson, a junior on the baseball team, was rewarded for his play this summer in the Cal Ripken Sr. Collegiate Baseball League, being named to the league's All-League team. He led his team, the Maryland Redbirds, with an earned-run average of 2.55. He finished with a record of 3-2 and one save in the league, with 42 strikeouts in 41.1 innings. Anderson was also fifth in opponent batting average in the league, at .205.
