Women Basketball to hold "Think Pink" event
Buffalo's women's basketball team will hold an event to raise breast cancer awareness during their game on February 9th against the Toledo Rockets. The players will be wearing pink headbands and pink wristbands during the game for the event.
True Blue will be selling Think Pink T-shirts to raise money for the local Western New York chapter of the American Cancer Society. The T-shirts are $5.00. To purchase a T-shirt, go to Campus Tees or visit www.ubtrueblue.com.
Men's Tennis struggles in California
Buffalo's men's tennis team went 0-3 on a recent road trip to California. They started their campaign in 2008 by dropping a match to San Francisco 5-2. They then concluded their trip by falling to Sacramento State 4-3 and then UC-David 4-3. The Bulls remain on the road and head to Cincinnati to take on Xavier on Sunday.
