Best Band: Every Time I Die

From the mean streets of North Tonawanda comes Buffalo's best band, Every Time I Die.

Sure, they've been around for quite a while, but if you're looking for a band that truly cares about the Queen City, no one else cares as much as them.

In a testament to their hometown-ness, they still put on their raucous Christmas show at the Game Zone Bowling alley in North Tonawanda last winter, despite a storm that made driving nearly impossible for most of the area.

How many other bands with their level of success would do all that for their hometown? Shaant wouldn't.

If playing their annual Christmas show during a horrendous winter storm wasn't enough, ETID found time to hang out with the Buffalo Sabres' own Drew Stafford this summer, who is such a big fan that he went along with them on their bus for a couple of shows.

Growing up in Buffalo means their relationship with the area is of great importance. From helping to get Fall Out Boy to perform a secret show at the Mohawk Place to lead singer Keith Buckley's new project, Finale, playing a special show at our own Walden Galleria Urban Outfitters, it's hard to deny their influence on the Buffalo music scene.

Family members of the band have even invaded UB as the Buckley brothers' father does a little professing here in the computer science department.

Being only a few months away from December, who knows what the members of ETID are going to bring to Buffalo for their next Christmas show. Only two things are certain: Andy's beard will be disgustingly long, and they will put on a performance never to forget.
