To the Editor:
???I'm just emailing you to tell you how proud I am of [The Spectrum] for defending the freedom of the press.
???In my opinion, all of them have no business attacking [Stephen Marth] because he asks a valid question, which is: "Why do all these different races feel the need to create their own little SA's?" And he logically concluded that it's because they want to make themselves feel special and dominate, instead of equalize. Because I imagine the regular SA encourages all that these liberal whackjobs say are the reasons for them creating their own SA's. So one must conclude that they don't care much for what MLK Jr. was trying to achieve, which was summed up nicely by Stephen when he said that he wishes to see everyone stand together and call each other human despite skin color or gender. This would be in keeping with MLK Jr's goal, which was for all humans to unite themselves in diversity and thereby become strong.
???I believe the mantra in this case is "United we stand, divided we fall." But many of these people creating their own SA's as usual have it backwards. They think "Divided we stand, united we fall." I think MLK Jr. must be turning over in his grave at all this divisiveness on the part of his people. But again thank you. You are brave in taking this stance. Conservative ideals from what I've seen are largely unpopular on a college campus.
???I encourage you to keep up the fight. Stand strong in the face of adversity and do not back down.
