"Ice, Ice Baby"

Students should make themselves aware of environmental concerns


The Ayles Ice Island, once part of one of the major ice shelves in Canada, has split in two. According to the BBC News, scientists blame global warming as a major reason the ice broke apart. Pieces of ice floating in the Artic seems like old news, but the bergs are heading westward and could come dangerously close to oilrigs off the coast of Alaska.
