'Feast' review claims hard to swallow

There is a serious problem with the review of "Feast" ("'Feast' is a buffet of laughable failure," Sept. 25). That is, the complaint about the cast being full of unknown actors. It seems to be both false and ignorant, as many great films have casts of relative unknowns. Look at Brandon Routh in "Superman Returns," Billy Boyd and Dominic Monaghan in "Lord of the Rings," and Brad Pitt in "Se7en."

Also, Michael Myers of "Halloween" fame has never donned a hockey mask; Jason Voorhees does in "Friday the 13th Part 3" and forward in the series. Moreover, "Reservoir Dogs" is not comparable to "Boondock Saints" as an underground film. "Reservoir Dogs" is critically praised and has been since it was released; the same can not be said of "Boondock Saints."
