Cerminara second in NWCA poll

Buffalo wrestler Kyle Cerminara will go into the MAC tournament as the nation's No. 2-ranked wrestler at 197 pounds. Ranked No. 1 is Central Michigan's Wynn Michalak, who defeated Cerminara in a dual meet earlier this season.

Cerminara's ranking is the highest in Buffalo wrestling history and second for a wrestler in the MAC, with Michalak's ranking the highest.

As one of four captains this season for the Bulls, Cerminara has broken several university records, including career wins with 131, career dual-meet wins with 51, consecutive matches won with 34, and dual-meet takedowns with 186. Cerminara's record is currently 36-1 this season, five victories behind his own school record of 41 wins in 2003-2004.
