Theme: A remake watching
Current: Solaris (2002)
Director Steven SoderberghOs journey into the frontiers of space is beautiful, mysterious and haunting, yet the exploration is not intergalactic in character, but psychological and philosophical. Not nearly as good as the original, but a respectable remake. See this one first.
Classic: Solaris (1972)
One of the greatest flicks in cinemaOs history, Russian director Andrei Tarkovsky creates a universe without mental or physical boundaries. The philosophical rhetoric floats through the movie like an astronaut cast into space, compelling us to question our emotions, sanity and being.
