Jamey Richard competes in NFL Combine
Looking to improve on his draft stock, senior center Jamey Richard impressed scouts at the NFL Combine on Saturday.
Richard ran a 5.2-second 40-yard dash and bench-pressed 225 pounds 22 times. Out of a group of 48 offensive linemen, Richard ranked in the top 10 in the vertical jump and the three-cone drill.
Richard has another chance to impress pro football scouts when Buffalo holds its Pro Day on March 5. ESPN draft expert Mel Kiper Jr. has ranked Richard as the fourth-best center eligible in the draft.
The NFL Draft will take place on April 26 and 27 in New York City.
