Sea of Blue Day

This Friday, Nov. 16, the University at Buffalo is encouraging students, faculty and staff to wear royal blue colors to support the Bulls football team. With a 4-2 record, Buffalo is two wins away from becoming bowl eligible and still can become the Mid-American Conference East division winner. Tickets for Saturday's 1 p.m. game against Bowling Green are free for students with a valid identification card. The school is also offering $6 tickets for friends and family.

MAC Scholar Athlete of the Week

Junior Andrea Vescio of the women's soccer team was selected as the Mid-American Conference female scholar athlete of the week. Vescio became the first Bulls athlete to win the distinguished award. Vescio is a management major and has a 3.99 GPA. She also started every game for Buffalo and led the team with 17 points. Vescio scored six goals and recorded five assists.
