What UB doing this weekend

Homecoming weekend is set to host a flurry of special events and games that feature nearly every UB fall sports team. In an attempt to help the busy student get the most out of this year's festivities, the Spectrum has made fail-safe schedule in order to help our blue and white fans maximize their fun.

Friday

2:00 p.m. Stop by a local shopping center for the necessary blue and white accessories. Face and body paints are musts.

3:00 p.m. Get geared up in Bulls stuff with 25 other crazed fans

3:45 p.m. Head over to UB Stadium for the start of the festivities

4:00 p.m. Women's soccer faces Western Michigan

5:30 p.m. Stop in at the carnival and grab a bite to eat for free.

5:55 p.m. Make the trip to Alumni Arena with proper cheer "fuel"

6:00 p.m. Volleyball battles MAC rivals Western Michigan

7:00 p.m. Go back to the Stadium as the 20th ranked men's soccer takes on #2 Akron

9:00 p.m. Head back to the carnival for more food and games while celebrating a Bulls sweep of MAC games. Bonus points if a date for Saturday's festivities is picked up at the Date Auction.

Saturday

10:30 a.m. Get prepped for another day of Bulls pride

11:00 a.m. Make a trip to Beaver Island State Park for cross country meet

11:45 a.m. Meet Uncle Rico and Pedro from Napoleon Dynamite at UB Stadium

12:30 p.m. Tailgate party outside of UB stadium Load up on hots and cool beverages.

1:30 p.m. UB football kicks off against MAC foes Akron Zips

2:15 p.m. Halftime parade including the announcement of school king and queen.

4:00 p.m. Go home, order pizza and watch the Yankees beat up on the Angels.

5:45 p.m. Journey back to Alumni Arena for the last Saturday athletic event

6:00 p.m. Volleyball plays Bowling Green in second MAC contest of the weekend

8:00 p.m. Celebrate the successes of the athletes in blue in white with friends.

Sunday

12:30 p.m. Go to UB Stadium for the last of the homecoming festivities.

1:00 p.m. Women's soccer gears up for a conference fight against Northern Illinois

3:00 p.m. Go home crash on the couch watching highlights from the Bills game
