University Police are investigating two thefts in Clement Hall last week, which occurred within four days of each other. An individual had taken “some” belongings from someone’s room on March 26, and a resident reported a personal item went missing four days later, on March 30, police said.

Both incidents appear to be isolated but are still under ongoing investigations.

Police declined to disclose the identities of the belongings, saying that keeping the details confidential will help their investigations.

UPD presence has increased in and around both Clement and Goodyear halls as a precaution.

“As always, the safety and well-being of the UB community is top priority,” Carl Lundin, Deputy Chief of Police for Investigations, wrote in an email to The Spectrum

People with information about either incident can contact UPD at 716-645-2222.
