UB male student falls from seventh story Goodyear Hall window

A UB male student fell from a seventh story window in Goodyear Hall at 11:10 a.m. this morning as an attempted suicide, according to University Police.

The university was not able to release any more information about the student’s status or identity out of respect for the family. The student has been transferred to Erie County Medical Center, according to UB Spokesperson John Della Contrada. His condition has not been released.

The screen has been visibly cut from the dorm window the student fell from.

The Spectrum will update this story as more information becomes more available.
