Brown honored with Academic All-MAC team selection
???Redshirt sophomore Kourtney Brown had an all-star season both on and off the court. Thanks to her impressive play down low on the block and her diligent hard work in the classroom, Brown has been named to the Academic All-MAC Team.
???Off the court, Brown is a computer engineering major with a 3.203 GPA. On the hardwood, she broke Buffalo's single season scoring record with 532 points on 220 made field goals. Brown tallied up 261 rebounds as well as 62 blocks and quickly became the backbone of the team.
She was named MAC East Player of the Week three times during the season and helped take the Bulls to their first ever conference semifinals appearance. Brown finished in the top four in scoring, rebounding, field goal percentage, and blocked shots, and also recorded two 30-point games. She joins an elite class of 11 other athletes on the team and is Buffalo's first selection to the team since the 2002-03 season.
