Murie is expected to get some academic scholarship money. He's interested in Buffalo's dental school.
Brown, Green acknowledged for impressive performance
???Sophomore forward Kourtney Brown was named the MAC East Player of the Week as well as Buffalo's Athlete of the Week after her two performances this past week.
???The sophomore standout began the week with a 20-point, eight-rebound performance against Toledo. She followed with the first 30-point game by a Bulls player in nearly six years after she scored 31 points and picked up 11 rebounds and four blocks against Ball State on Sunday.
???Brown currently ranks second in the MAC and 16th in the nation in field-goal percentage at 56.8 percent. She currently leads her team, averaging 16.4 points and 7.3 rebounds a game along with 38 blocked shots overall.
???On the men's side, redshirt-freshman Desi Green captured Athlete of the Week after defeating Kent State's Jeremy Depoy and remaining undefeated in the MAC.
