Andy Robinson named MAC East Player of the Week

Andy Robinson was named the Mid-American Conference East Division Player of the Week after leading the men's basketball team to a pair of conference wins last week. In the games, the junior guard averaged 21 points, 2.5 rebounds, 3.5 steals, and two assists.

On Tuesday night, Robinson had a career game at Northern Illinois. He scored a career-high 35 points on 8-of-13 shots overall, and an astounding 8-of-10 shooting beyond the arc. His 35 overall points were only two shy of UB's record for points scored in a road game, held by Mike Martinho's 37 points at Troy State in 1996. His career-best eight three-pointers earned him the achievement of third best effort in a single-game in school history.
