Moran and Turner named Athletes of the Week

Junior wrestler Mickey Moran and senior women's basketball player Heather Turner were named athletes of the week.

Moran captured a 3-1 overtime victory over 16th-ranked Chris Knoeycutt of Edinboro. Moran is 29-7 this year.

Turner averaged 16 points and nine rebounds in two games, including a season-high 20 points and nine rebounds against Western Michigan. In Buffalo's game against Central Michigan, she had 12 points and nine boards to go along with a pair of blocked shots.
