Football out-of-conference opponents announced
In his end-of-the-year press conference on Tuesday, head coach Turner Gill announced the Bulls' out-of-conference schedule for the 2008 season. Next year, the Bulls will travel to play Pittsburgh and Missouri. Army and Texas-El Paso will come to UB Stadium during the season.
Three MAC Teams invited to bowl games
Three football teams from the Mid-American Conference have been invited to participate in post-season bowl games.
Conference champion Central Michigan (8-5) will take on Purdue (7-5) on December 26 in the Motor City Bowl in Detroit at 7:30 p.m. The game will be televised on ESPN.
Ball State (7-5) is set to take on Rutgers in the International Bowl in Toronto on Jan. 5. Kickoff is scheduled at noon on ESPN2.
The GMAC Bowl in Mobile, AL is slated to feature Bowling Green (8-4) against Tulsa (9-4) at 8 p.m. on ESPN on Jan. 6,
