Heather Turner named Preseason All-MAC

Senior Heather Turner was named to the Preseason All-Mid American Conference East team for the second consecutive season. Turner was the leader for the Bulls in scoring and rebounding for the third straight season. She was also one of the top leaders in field goal percentage in the conference last season. For the past three seasons, Turner has been an All-MAC honorable mention selection.

Corrigan Report Addresses Athletics

Even though Buffalo is at the same playing field financially as the rest of the Mid-American Conference, consultant Gene Corrigan has identified that additional financial support is key to the program's future success. The committee believes that an indoor practice facility is the school's greatest need. The committee praises the direction the athletic department is heading towards under Warde Manuel. For the school's growth, athletics plays a key role in building and preserving excitement in Western New York.
