Take a look at my girlfriend cause she's the only one I got. Proceed to take your clothes off and have a good time...oh yeah.
After their recent Best New Artist VMA and the explosion of their singles "Cupids Chokehold" and "Clothes Off," one would seemingly have to be deaf, or Mormon, to have not heard of Travis McCoy and his Gym Class Heroes.
Although Buffalo was inexplicably left off of the forthcoming Fall Out Boy's "Young Wild Things Tour," in which GCH offers direct support, fear not. On October 8, the Verizon Wireless Tour, headlined by none other than GCH, will be strolling through the CFA...although technically Alumni would have been more fitting.
Ticket prices and door times have not yet been verified, but what is known is that the show will be exclusive to UB undergrads with a valid ID.
GCH have been around since 2004, playing the various dives and venues of Buffalo on numerous occasions, but it has only been as of late that the refreshing hip-rock four-piece has hit the mainstream. By rehashing the aforementioned "Cupids Chokehold" and avoiding the "should have been but never were" moniker, they've made themselves right at home atop the radio, charts and video airplay.
By adding on the Gym Class Heroes show to a Fall concert season that already includes last week's stacked-fest, and throwing a possible DMB show into the mix, this is without a doubt the icing on the tastiest Fall cake that UB has ever baked.
