My path to The Spectrum began on the ever-Internet-trendy-fad-blogging-tool known as Live Journal. In between all the different quizzes, music ramblings and semi-emo entries about my early college social life, I posted boatloads of my own college football rankings (with analysis) and mock drafts at nearly unhealthy levels.
A friend of mine told me that I was doing something special, that I could do much more with this "gift" than just compiling all this in a random blog. At his encouragement, I decided to start writing on this paper my junior year, in hopes of being able to start getting myself in the right direction career wise.
Thus with graduation looming on the horizon, let this final column of mine be a salute to my personal blog with one of my favorite styles of writing my entries, which I call "Points of Authority," where I just shoot off different takes that I have on things. Also, these are my final thoughts on my various column subjects and other experiences.
In the words of the great Wesley Willis: Rock over London, rock on State University of New York at Buffalo The Spectrum - A student publication of the University at Buffalo.
