Nenova named MACs women's tennis Player of the Week

Senior Miglena Nenova was named the Mid-American Conference's women's tennis Player of the Week. Nenova went 4-0 in her singles and doubles matches as Buffalo beat 75th-ranked Syracuse and Niagara last weekend.

Against Syracuse, Nenova beat 28th-ranked Olga Votavova in straight sets 6-3, 6-0. Nenova is now 8-2 on the season in singles matches and she is one victory away from tying Kristen Ortman's all-time singles victories record of 59.
