Freshman heavyweight wrestler Jason Weber and senior Katrin Fischer of the women's tennis team were named Athletes of the Week.

Weber, in his first collegiate match on Saturday, subbed for the injured Jeff Parker and defeated the 30th ranked heavy weight in the nation. Marcus Adelman of the Ohio Bobcats fell to Weber 5-4.

Fischer, in the team's match against St. Bonaventure, shut out her opponents in both her doubles and singles matches. Paired with freshman Diana Toia, the tandem defeated the opposing Bonnie duo 8-0. Following her doubles effort she then routed Vanessa Cole 6-0, 6-0 to cap off an impressive showing on Sunday.
