While flipping channels on Friday night, I had the unfortunate experience of running across a Student Association program featuring drunken UB students cursing, fighting, and degrading women on Main Street ("Main St. Confessions"). It surprises me that the Student Association condones and encourages such activities, as one of the show's hosts exclaimed that "shit happens" and "we're here to film it." It is no wonder that residents in the University Heights neighborhood have complained loudly about their degrading quality of life.
