For fans who can't make it to the games, the Buffalo volleyball team will air four of its matches on WLVL 1340 AM. This will be the second consecutive season that the team's games will air live on air.
The first game broadcasted was the Bulls victory on Tuesday over Syracuse. Buffalo's match against local rival Canisius will also be available over the airwaves, as well as two other games that will be announced at a later date.
Assistant athletic director and head of athletic communications, Paul Vecchio, will be providing the color commentary for the matches, while Brendan McDaniels will provide play-by-play. McDaniels currently does the pre- and post-game interviews for the football team.
WLVL will also be broadcasting all home and away women's basketball games, as well as eight other events that will be named at a later date. All of the broadcasts will also be available through Teamline via the Internet for those who are out of the local area.
