Baseball announces suspensions
The Baseball team released the names of the students that would be handed down penalties after a bench-clearing brawl on Monday night against Canisius. Senior James Kingsley will serve a one-game suspension for his actions in the scuffle.
Six other players will be suspended from three games apiece beginning immediately. Seniors David Amaro and Aaron Otto, sophomore Rick Oliveri and freshmen Eric Mruczek, Jacob Rosenbeck and Frank Jagoda will all be sitting on the bench in this weekend's match-ups.
Men's Soccer announces 2006 schedule
Games against five top-100 ranked teams highlight the 2006 men's soccer schedule.
Buffalo will host the Horizon League Championship runner-up Detroit, who finished the year ranked 75th nationally. They will also be hosting former 41st-ranked Duquesne on September 22.
The Bulls will travel to West Virginia to take on the 37th ranked Mountaineers on August 27 and face former 19th-ranked Penn State on October 8. Buffalo's season finale will be at last season's third-ranked Akron Zips' home field on October 27.
