Squeaky Wheel
Friday, March 3 at 8 p.m.
Local artists Jax DeLuca, Hettie Kauffmann and Andrew Wurl, will publicly hatch the work at the Squeaky Wheel. DeLuca delves into a world of daydreams by documenting fantasy and delusion in order to recover the sunken treasures of repression. Kauffmann will present "All That Dazzles," which tries to dissect the ebb and flow of information made for mass consumption. Wurl is showing two new pieces, one animated and the other a short video on semantics.

Photek
The OPM Lounge, 680 Main St.
Friday, March 3 at 10 p.m.
Believe it or not, Buffalo can have a pretty awesome weekend club scene, and this weekend might be one of the best ever. The OPM Lounge continues its Friday drum-n-bass series this week with the influential Brit DJ Photek. You might not know his original stuff, but his remixes of No Doubt's "Cool," Lamb's "Alien," and Zero7's "Destiny" are classics. It's only $10 for a DJ that would cost you at least double in the city.
