Spike Lee's new film stars Denzel Washington as Detective Keith Frazier, a NYPD hostage negotiator. This big-budget bank heist thriller features supporting performances from Jodie Foster, Clive Owen and Willem Dafoe. Spike Lee moves into the mainstream again after his previous smaller outings "25th Hour" and "She Hate Me" with great acclaim.

"Elisa Monte Dance"

Think of people in loincloths bending over and around one another in agile and highly skilled maneuvers and you have "Elisa Monte Dance," coming this Friday to the CFA. The company's performances have garnered success in over 35 nations, often noted for their sensual and highly athletic performances. There will also be a talk with Elisa Monte an hour before the show.

DJ Bill Page of Transmission, and Aaron Andrews bring their act to the Buffalo Icon, spinning retro tunes in the same style as the popular annual "Cure vs. the Smiths" dance party. They'll have drink specials all night, so put on your dancing shoes and most stylish threads and get ready to dance the night away with Buffalo's cool kids.
