First 2,000 students free to Monday night's game
The men's basketball team has clinched a home playoff game that will commence Monday night at 7 p.m. The Bulls will play Ball State and the UB athletics department has purchased 2,000 tickets for students who come to the first-round game of the Mid-American Conference tournament.
After the first 2,000 students, those who wish to attend the game will have to purchase tickets at the box office. General admission tickets, allowing a purchaser to sit in the bleachers, are $16.
Doors will open at 5:30 p.m. for the 7 p.m. tip off.
All-MAC Academic team for English
Jackie English, senior swimmer on the women's swimming and diving team, has been named to the respective All-MAC Academic Team. English boasts a 3.775 GPA as a history major and participated in all 14 Buffalo meets this year, specializing in the 50- and 100-yard freestyle events.
