"Fears"-less Ohio

Freshman Jeremy Fears, a former Ohio basketball standout, has decided to transfer out of the university during his sophomore campaign due to personal issues. The Joliet, Ill., native is rumored to be looking at universities closer to his home but has yet to pick his destination.

Fears, a 6-foot 4-inch point guard, was named to the All-MAC Freshman and MAC All-Tournament teams last year. He averaged 11 points per game and four assists as a freshman, and has left Ohio averaging 10 points and four assists per game this year.

Fears scored 77 points against Buffalo in the four times he saw action against the Bulls.
