Second weekly MAC award for Adams

It has been a year full of accomplishments for senior men's swimmer Luke Adams. This week Adams was named Mid-American Conference male Scholar-Athlete of the week, and earlier in the week was named MAC men's swimmer of the week.

Adams' success in the pool has come in the distance freestyle events, and his signature event, the 200-yard backstroke. He is currently undefeated in the 200-yard backstroke with a record of 3-0 and the 1,000-yard freestyle with a record of 5-0. His success has landed him three top-ten rankings in the MAC: a second-place ranking in the 200-yard backstroke, a fourth-place in the 1,000-yard freestyle and eighth in the 500-yard freestyle.

In the classroom, Adams has posted a 3.171 GPA as a mechanical engineering major.
