Muslims not only ones targeted

In response to "Muslim-Americans lose border case" (Jan 20):

It is not just Muslims who are affected. I am a Hindu and I had problems crossing back into the United States. I was singled out, asked to turn off the engine, open the trunk, hand over the car keys and step out with my hands clearly visible. The thickness of the line dividing the United States and an authoritarian police state is rapidly diminishing. The court's message is clear: if the color of your skin is brown, stay away from law enforcement agencies. They are not there to help you, even if you are completely innocent.
