Come again?

For R&B fans who like the dirty sensuality of Jamie Foxx or Cory Chesnutt, another spoonful of lovin' is on the way.

Jersey-based singer and songwriter Tony Hussle recently made his debut in the music business with his "Sexy, Freaky, Electric" EP, released Dec. 20. The album suits the bedroom and the Top 40 charts, both of which it will probably reach as long as listeners ignore the lyrics.

As Russell's mother explains in the opening track, like Jay-Z's did for "The Black Album," the artist taught himself to play the piano by the age of two, and it shows. The talented vocalists' crooning is blended with the smooth taste of liquid R&B and roaming guitars, but these elements clash with tacky writing.

Russell is unashamed to give commands to his woman mid-act and mid-song ("Bend back over baby, I ain't through"), but there's a point where it stops being kinky and goes over the top with the cheesy.

"You're so special like a secret that is personal/ Special like a baby's first steps/ Special like the first time you have sex," Hussle sings in "Special."

Tracks like "In This House" and "Come Again" fall in line with many songs played on mainstream R&B and hip-hop stations, and you can tell that Russell's really trying to get in touch with the spiritual side of love-making. He just needs some lyrical coaching.

But hey, at least he honors the idea of abstinence.

"This girl caught my attention soon as she passed me/ The way she looked I coulda' swore she did the nasty/ but she said she ain't do it and she was classy/ And then she told me she's a virgin too," Hussle sings in "She's a Virgin, Too," one of the singles to be released off the EP.

Lyrics aside, the soulful harmonizing and subtle church organ make the track one of the more promising songs on the EP. It's a bit repetitive, but that never seems to be a problem with radio hits.
