McKenna continues MAC supremacy
For the second straight week, UB junior Dan McKenna of the men's cross-country team was named the Mid-American Conference Men's Runner of the Week.
McKenna received the award after winning the UB Open in 29:59.9 for the 8K course. McKenna crossed the finish line with time to spare, his closest competitor 20 seconds behind him.
The UB Open victory was McKenna's second first-place finish, following his win at the season opening Tommy Evans Invitational.
Rain postpones men's tennis
Poor weather conditions and the lack of an indoor facility caused UB to cancel its match at Binghamton this weekend. The teams plan to reschedule the meeting during the spring 2006 season.
